Patreon Poll

3 min read
Hello!
I've been thinking about setting up a Patreon creator account to help with supporting my personal, non-commercial art.
I'm very interested in hearing your feedback about my work in general. Which projects are closest to you, which one (if any) you would like to see developed more?
It could very well be that things I find interesting/attractive are not that attractive to you.
And maybe some others that I don't take too seriously could be developed some more.
If you have any opinions - please vote in the poll I set up towards the top of the page.
If the poll is not good, is missing an option or you want to add something else - please, post a comment.
If you think this is a hopeless idea - I'd like to hear it too :)
Thanks a lot and I hope you're having good holidays, wherever you are ;)

During my time as software engineer at Foundry (in R&D department) I was a technical lead on an experimental project for Oakley.
Due to the nature of R&D work the results usually take years to go public or, what's probably more likely, they don't get released at all.
So it's quite cool to see that just a few months after completing the project it can be viewed in public (although only in pilot mode at Oakley's headquarters in California).
Yazan Malkosh, former Head of Design at Foundry whom I was working on this job with, has visited Oakley's headquarters recently and wrote a review of what he saw on the stage.

Auto Character Setup is an extension (plugin) for Foundry MODO (digital content creation application) that I've been developing since 2012.
In general terms it's a set of tools to help with animating characters in MODO.
It covers both the process of preparing 3d model for animation and the animation itself.
There were 2 versions of the plugin released so far (in 2013 and 2015).
Recently, I've finished working on a new website for the product and I thought I would share this, in case anyone is interested in 3D character animation:

New website!

Finally, after quite a few years I'm very happy to announce that I have a personal website up again!
There should be a sensible amount of content on the website already but I definitely plan to add more.
Have a look/read if you are interested in my work!

I've been out of the loop for a looong time. A LOT has happened during past few years but unfortunately my personal art was not one of them.
I spent 3 years writing software at Foundry, one of leading companies in the market of tools for digital artists (NUKE, MODO). I released two versions of my own auto rigging plugin for Foundry MODO.
I absolutely LOVE programming, it's like doing pure abstract art.
The exprience I gathered at Foundry is helping me immensely with pushing my work on the interactive version of Dogs of Zone - this one is finally, although rather slowly, coming to an end.
And I'm also a happy father to two little boys!
A few months ago I wasn't even sure I would get back to art at all but it looks like I should be able to do it in some capacity.
Keep your fingers crossed please :)
