Dog of Zone V by lukpazera Dog of Zone V by lukpazera
Dog number V. It's a mixture of 3D and 2D and a continuation of the Postcards From The Zone series.

how did you create the 'rainbow' effect on your artwork?
may I ask what kind of filter you used? :)

hey, thanks for visit in my gallery!
the 'rainbow' is not a filter, it's light dispersion effect rendered in 3d application (Luxology modo).

WOW HOLY WHAT THE FUH HOW DID... WHAT... I have NEVER seen an image like this before. You clearly used a lot of different methods to create it. How did you go about it?

hi, thanks a lot for comment! This image indeed is a mixture of a few different techniques. I've got an article published on CGSociety where I talk about creative process of one of my dogs (not this one though):

This image was produced in similar way however I did a lot more work in Photoshop and I rendered some extra layers with dispersion effect in 3D. I hope that helps!
